We are so excited that you're considering Unraveled Weddings to document one of the most meaningful days of your life.
While your wedding is completely about you, we believe the people you choose to surround yourself with matter just as much as the photographs themselves. Your photographers are with you through almost every moment of the day. We help calm nerves, keep the timeline moving, celebrate alongside your family and friends, and preserve the moments you'll never want to forget. Finding people you genuinely enjoy being around is just as important as loving their work.
We're Melissa and Sarah.
We've been business partners since 2017, but more importantly, we've become family. Our friendship, trust, and ability to communicate without saying much at all allows us to move seamlessly throughout a wedding day. One of us is always anticipating the next moment while the other is quietly documenting everything unfolding around us.
Together, we founded Spectrum Inspired, a nonprofit dedicated to documenting and sharing the stories of children and adults on the autism spectrum while providing families with meaningful photographs of their loved ones.
That same year, we launched Unraveled Academy, an online photography education community where we've spent years helping thousands of photographers refine their craft, build successful businesses, and discover their own artistic voice.
Education has made us stronger photographers, but weddings continue to remind us why we fell in love with photography in the first place.
Our goal isn't simply to document your wedding day. We want to create a gallery that feels like it.

Signature Wedding Collection
Starting at $5,000
Designed for couples who want authentic storytelling with two photographers documenting every meaningful moment.
Your collection includes:
• Six consecutive hours of wedding day coverage
• Two experienced photographers working together to capture every angle, every emotion, and every in-between moment.
• A professionally hand-edited online gallery filled with high-resolution images.
• Full personal printing rights so you can print, share, and relive your photographs however you'd like.
Additional Coverage
$500 per hour
Need a little more time? Whether you'd like us there while you're getting ready, want more portraits at sunset, or simply don't want the celebration to end early, additional coverage allows us to document more of your story without feeling rushed.
Destination Travel

Planning a celebration outside of Wisconsin? We absolutely love to travel.
This flat travel fee covers our transportation, accommodations, and logistics so you can enjoy your wedding day knowing everything has already been taken care of.
Signature Wedding Highlight Film

Sometimes movement says what photographs can't.
Our highlight films beautifully blend the laughter, emotion, sounds, and atmosphere of your wedding day into a short cinematic keepsake you'll find yourself watching for years to come.
Video sounds like something you can do without to cut costs…but take it from two old broads. If you forgo, there will be regrets. We would do anything to go back in time and have something like this to rewatch on anniversaries and show our kids. Trust.
35mm Film Photography

If you're drawn to timeless, nostalgic imagery, film is the perfect addition to your wedding gallery.
We'll photograph portions of your day on 35mm film, creating approximately 20–30 beautifully imperfect images with rich colors, soft grain, and a feeling that's impossible to replicate digitally.
Super 8 Wedding Footage
$250
Super 8 brings your wedding back to life in the most nostalgic way.
We'll capture pieces of your day on authentic Super 8 film while also handing the camera off to your wedding party throughout the celebration. The result is an honest, behind-the-scenes look at your wedding from the people who experienced it alongside you.
You'll receive every raw clip, allowing you to relive the day exactly as it unfolded.
